Rebecca Galfalvi is a British-Hungarian multi instrumental violinist, looping artist and composer. Since obtaining her Bachelors degree in Music from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, she has been an active composer and performer. While the violin is her primary instrument, she often uses DIY instruments, electronics and found sound recording to create original and unusual soundscapes. She released her debut album 'Lost World' in 2021 and her EP 'Dream Cycle' in July 2023 under her moniker Arulei. Rebecca's music has running conceptual themes, inspired by the foggy emotions of contemporary life, and blends the diverse elements of her musical background together to express her ideas. She also composes music for film, and won Best Music at Around the Globe Film Festival for'Anxious Love' by Kiya Mukherjee. As well as composition, Rebecca performs live multi instrumental solo shows, as well as participating in collaborations and has played at numerous festivals including Sziget Fesztival, Művészetek völgye, H.U.G & Zengető.
